Saturday, T raced in his first Pinewood derby for scouts. He chose the design of his car, and a friend from church cut it out for him. Then, he chose the colors and painted the car exactly the way he wanted. T raced a total of three times. He came in 2nd twice, and 3rd once.Tonight the boys have headed out for the annual Pack 28 cake auction. The cake had to be decorated in a scout theme. So, anything to do with nature is usually a safe choice. T wanted to make a compass cake, and use cupcakes for the North, South, East, and West markers.
Mom and Dad are proud of T. He worked hard on his derby car and his cake. T has also met all the requirements for his Tiger badge. We'll post pictures of that special event very soon!
